In early 2023, Our Next Energy decided to move into the stationary storage arena, essentially building giant batteries to support solar farms, grid stabilization and zero-emission backup generators to decarbonize the grid. 

 

But there was one tiny problem -- we didn't have a name, a design or any product messaging. So I set out to fix that. 

 

We worked with industrial design duo Oil Stain Labs to develop the product design alongside our engineering team. From there we brought it into photo-real CGI and got to work developing the launch film and product detail page for the one.ai website.

 

In the following year, we captured the design and build of the first Aries Grid containers that were deployed to a utility substation in Illinois.
